The AAOMPT Cardon Rehabiliation Grant has supported the research of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists since 2003. Applicable topics include diagnostic studies, effectiveness studies of OMPT interventions, and investigative studies in motor control or pain science.

The COMPTSIG Cardon Rehabilitation Grant has supported the research of the California Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Special Interest Group since 2012. The purpose of the grant is to fund research efforts that relate to the science and/or practice of orthopaedic manual physical therapy (OMPT).
